Stephanie Breen is a spiritual psychotherapist, Reiki Master and yoga practitioner in Toronto. Therapy in Emotion is the practice she built to help people care for the mind, body and spirit together.
I'm Stephanie.
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the quiet work of healing: the way a person softens when they finally feel heard, and the way energy begins to move again once it has somewhere to go.
Therapy in Emotion grew from a simple belief. We are most whole when we tend to all of ourselves, not just the part that hurts. Mind, body and spirit are not separate rooms. They are one home, and they heal together.

Where this work began.
My training in the healing arts started with Reiki, the gentle, hands-on energy practice I now hold as a Reiki Master. From there I went on to study spiritual psychotherapy at the Transformational Arts College of Toronto, learning to hold space for people through emotional and energetic work.
Alongside that, years of caring for children and youth taught me patience, presence, and how much can shift when someone simply feels safe. Every part of that path shapes the way I sit with people today.
