Privacy Policy

Therapy in Emotion respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you visit this site or reach out, why, and how to contact us.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, what you are drawn to, and your message. The form opens an email from your own mail program, so your message is sent directly to Stephanie and nothing from the form is stored on this website.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets a first-party analytics cookie and collects usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device, and taps on email, phone and contact links) to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out through your browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to you and follow up about your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Confidentiality

Anything you share in the course of working together is treated with care and held in confidence, within the limits of the law. We will always talk you through how your information is handled before we begin.

Retention and your rights

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you and meet our records obligations. Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows.
